It's the first Wednesday of the month, so it's time to Inspire, Create, and Share, with the ICS blog hop. This month we are sharing projects with a guy theme. So, I decided to celebrate my guy. (Well, one of them). Our youngest child graduated from High School this past week, so of course, I had to make him a card. His school colors are navy and grey, and his favorite color is bright green. So, I decided to combine them. I was pretty happy with the results!
This card features one of our new in colors, Lemon Lime Twist. The card is on a Night of Navy base and the congrats is die cut from Night of Navy too. The fun patterned DSP is from the new Naturally Eclectic DSP. (Just in case you didn't know, we have a new catalog, full of all kids of great stuff).
I like the card because it's simple and fun. But the best part is how happy my son was with it when he opened it. That sure does make a card making mom happy.
Here we are after his graduation ceremony.
And I just had to share this too! Here he is, kindergarten graduation and 12th grade.
I made a second card for him to give to a friend, I just changed it up a bit, using our foil paper instead of DSP. I embossed it with our new Oh My Stars embossing folder.
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog.
