It's the beginning of one of my favorite times of the year. I can't say my favorite, because there is so much I like about summer (the beach, warm days, kids home). There's a lot I like about fall (new school years, pretty trees, cooler weather, Halloween stuff). And spring (warmer days, the world becoming green again, and flowers). So, maybe winter isn't my favorite, but a good snow storm and hot drinks make it worth all the cold. But what makes winter pretty awesome is Christmas.
The colors, the decorations, the feel good commercials. Having family and friends gather together. But most important, Christmas cards! I love everything about them. Making them, sending them, receiving them, looking at them.
I am starting my Christmas card making classes next week! I'm trying something new this year, I'm calling it a Christmas Card Club. The club meets the 2nd Tuesday of the month, at 10am and 7 pm. EXCEPT for the month of July! For July we're meeting on Wednesday, July 5 at 7pm (although if you gather a few friends, I am happy to schedule a private class for you--I can also do a to go packet, just ask!). We'll make two each of three card designs for $18. All supplies are included for in person classes. The classes will run right through December. If you attend all 6 (or all 5 daytime classes) you will receive a fun gift from me! (And don't worry, there will be more Christmas card classes, stay tuned for schedule updates).
But enough chit chat, let's look at the projects!
Ahhh, I'm so happy with my first set of Christmas cards. Warm Christmasy colors and hot drinks, what more could a Christmas card maker want?
First up are two cards using a new Holiday set from the annual catalog called Merry Mistletoe. The first card is cased (copy and share everything) from page 112 of the catalog.
The second project with the same set shows off more of our new Be Merry DSP.
In each class, I like to have at least one card that's not quite so traditional. I think this next card fits the bill. It shows off our new Coffee Cafe bundle and a returning favorite, Flurry of Wishes.

I also have some exciting news from Stampin' Up!
We have a couple of great promotions for July. First up, Bonus Days are back! For every $50 you spend July 1–31 (before shipping and tax), you’ll get a $5 Bonus Days coupon that you can use August 1–31. How cool is that? You can order from my online store, just click that "shop" button on the right or contact me.
(Wait till July 1 for the coupons, but I won't mind if you order something now).
Our second promotion is even more amazing! Join my team in July during Our Christmas in July promotion. It makes it easier than ever to sign up to be a demonstrator! All new recruits will receive a FREE Essentials Gift Pack including Paper Snips, SNAIL Adhesive, Grid Paper, two D Blocks, and a Bone Folder. That’s an added value of $52! And to give you a taste of the perks of being a demonstrator, we will also include the Carols of Christmas Stamp Set from the holiday catalog for FREE ($20 US/$26 CAN)! Can you believe it? It's an amazing deal on top of the regular joining plan of $125 in product for $99 with free shipping. Want to know more, ask!
Wow, this is a doozy of a blog post. I hope you have been inspired to create and to know more about Stampin' Up.
