Sending Love Suite, Remarkable Blog Hop

Hi Everyone! Welcome back to our Remarkable Blog Hop. This month we are featuring the Sending Love Suite. I am loving the whole suite! What I'm sharing with you just the beginning I think.

First we'll start with the Valentine's card we'll be making in my Just Cards class this week.

I'm really happy with how it came out. Clean, bold, and lovely. But it definitely took a some work to get it there. I had the basic idea, but couldn't figure out how I wanted the sentiment (which is from a retired host set, but I still break it out every year. But I think the Happy Valentine's Day sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes would work just fine) so I played around a bit and settled on embossing a top layer of black with the white embossing powder. Here's what my desk looked like in progress:

Keeping with the bold black, white, and red theme, here's my love banner.

This the before and after of my stamping desk. I've been meaning to decorate up the back for awhile and I finally got around to it.

My last project to share today is a bit softer. I used Pool Party, Crumb Cake, and Real Red.

I hope you've been inspired.

An Occasion to Celebrate

It's my first blog post of the new year! I'll keep it short as I'm in full swing preparing for my Open House event coming up on Sunday the 8th of January. I'm excited to share Stampin' Up's new Occasions catalog with my local crafty friends. And I am excited to share some ideas here on my blog! If you'd like a catalog, let me know.

For my open house, I'll be offering four card designs to make, and here they are:

Aren't they lovely? They feature lots of new stamps and beautiful Designer Series papers from the Occasions catalog and Sale-A-Bration brochure.
Let's take a closer look.

Lift Me Up

Lucky Elephant

Dragonfly Dreams

Big on Birthdays

There's really something for everyone!

The Lift Me Up bundle is one of my favorites, especially with the coordinating DSP that you can get for free from the Sale-A-Bration brochure. And you know how much I love Stampin' Up's DSP. I love it so much, I had to use it to make one of these cute easel calendars.

I have two last things to share with you today.
First, a preview for this month's Remarkable blog hop coming up on the 15th. We'll be featuring the Sealed With Love Suite. I made this banner to decorate my desk:

Very sophisticated, I think! So check back next week for all my sweet projects.

In closing, I'll share my Christmas scrapbook pages. I adore all our Project Life products. They make it so easy to make quick memory pages. I think I made these two pages in 10 minutes or less! That's my kind of scrapbooking.

I love all the traditional red and green this year!

Thanks for visiting! I hope you enjoyed seeing some of the new products available from Stampin' Up! I look forward to sharing more with you soon.
Stay Crafty!
