A Paper Pumpkin Thing, January Kit

The January kit is here! And it's lovely. It's called Heartfelt Love Notes and I think you're going to love it. Today I'm hopping with A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop.

The first project I made is a small framed art piece. I'm planning to give it to my husband for Valentine's day. I think it will look great on the shelf next to his desk. And it will remind him how fantastic I think he is.

The small squares are die cut from one of the cards in the Paper Pumpkin kit with the smallest of the Square Stitched Shape Framelits. The squares are attached to a square of Copper Foil paper and then to a scalloped square (largest size in the Square Layering Framelits) of Basic Black. A small Copper Foil Stitched Circle Framelit and the smallest heart from the Sweet & Sassy Framelits. The super cute sentiment, "You are my kind of fantastic" is from a host stamp set in the Occasions Catalog.

The frame is for a 5 x 7 image.

My second project from this month's kit is a bookmark card.

The card base is Flirty Flamingo, 5 1/2" x 8 1/2". Next, the card front is 4" x 5 1/4". There is a small strip of Copper Foil and a strip of our Pick a Pattern Washi Tape. I cut down one of the cards from the kit to 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" and mounted it to the card front with Fast  Fuse. The bookmark is the white insert from the kit cut down to 2 1/4" x 4". I added some more of the washi tape and stamped the sentiment from the kit in the Rich Razzleberry ink spot. I added a few of the enamel dots from the kit.

Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope I've inspired you to use your kit in different ways. For more inspiration, click HERE or the next button below to see what Tina has to share.
