A Paper Pumpkin Thing, June 2017

I think the June kit, called One in a Melon is so cute! I mean, first the name! I mean, who, who, doesn't love a good pun. Here is a quick unboxing video, so you can see all of the elements.

For my alternative project, I made the gift bag into a box.

It was pretty simple really. I decided how tall I wanted to make the box. In this case, about 3 inches. I cut out part of one wide panel on the bag and a little bit less on each side panel. Then I assembled the box. The front panel decorations use the stamps and supplies from the kit. The strip for the banner is from the piece in the center of the circle elements. The black dots are 2 of the White Perfect Accents colored black with a Sharpie. Even though they are self adhesive, I used Glue Dots to attach them to the banner and the box. I cut the tissue paper a bit smaller to line the box.

    1. Yes! What a great idea. It's a good sized box, able to hold lots of sweet treats.
