I used the Create with Connie and Mary color challenge as inspiration.
Here are the cards, I did a bunch of sponging of the edges with crumb cake!
I added the words at the bottom and on the back I wrote our address.
Here is a close up of the flowers, to give them a little depth, I used the back side of my paper piercer to put a little indent in them.
And finally, just to share here is a picture of our house taken in the Fall. I love the house and am hoping the perfect family will come along and buy it. Wish me luck!!
What a great way to leave a lasting memory of your beautiful home. If the house is as beautiful as your cards, it will sell fast! Thanks for joining us in the color challenge this week at Create with Connie and Mary.
ReplyDeleteWhat a super idea to leave little notes to those that stop by to view the house! That's an idea that could be marketed to realtors! So cute and simple! And what a beautiful home! Good luck to you all! Thanks for playing the challenge at Create with Connie and Mary!
ReplyDeleteFirst, let me tell you that if your house was in Nebraska, I'd buy it in a heartbeat...beautiful! I really like how you are using a hand stamped sentiment to thank people for stopping to look. What a nice touch! Thanks for playing the Create with Connie and Mary color challenge this week!
ReplyDeleteI love you your idea to stamp cards for the guests. And such a pretty card with the soft image of leaves on the background. Thanks for joining us this week at Create with Connie and Mary.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful house! And your cards are just as beautiful too! Where in Maryland will you be heading to?
ReplyDeleteFABULOUS card! LOVE the clean look and perfect for making a bunch! Thanks for playing along this week in the Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge!
ReplyDeleteAh...what an AWESOME idea!!! I'll have to keep that in mind! Your house is beautiful and I hope you sell it quickly! Lovely cards...perfect for what you have in mind! Thanks for playing along with the color challenge this week on Create with Connie and Mary!
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone for all the positive comments! Strangely, 6 groups came through this weekend and no one took one! I even had a pretty sign right next to them on the counter saying "please take one". So weird, I think!! But any way, we've had some traffic and a few people seem interested, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. We've been here 14 years and slowly made the house just what we've wanted, but change is good. We are moving to Urbana, MD (near Frederick) to be closer to my husband's job. I love your challenges, they keep me motivated!
ReplyDeleteAudra, your cards are such a lovely thing to have available for those who visit your home! Love the subtle stamping as well as the flowers and pretty font! Best wishes to see your home soon. Thanks for joining us this week at Create with Connie and Mary !
