*I spend a few hours carefully cutting it all up and packaging it up.
(sometimes a free bonus item might find it's way into the package).
*Then I put it in the mail, on Monday June 13, priority mail (you pay the shipping)
or if you live local (ish), you can pick it up at my open house on June 12.

A Few of My Retiring Favorites, Remarkable Blog Hop

Stampin' Up releases a new annual catalog each year.  And this is good, because as crafty folk, we need new stuff to craft with. But, the catalog can only be so big for many reasons, so each year a few really lovely products need to be retired. Today, I am going to share a few of my favorites that are retiring. The good news is, you can still order them--until May 31, while supplies last.

I'm going to focus mainly on retiring stamp sets. One of my favorites, and featured here is the stamp set Big News. It has lots of sentiments in big fonts, things for babies, birthdays, and weddings.

Next, I'm featuring the back ground stamp World Map. I mean this image is amazing! You can use it in so many ways. I think it's a stamp every crafter needs on their stamp shelf.

This card also uses one of the retiring in colors, Lost Lagoon and it's coordinating ribbon and the retiring word window punch.

And lastly, the following project features one of my all time favorite stamp sets, ever. By the Tide. I am an ocean loving girl. I adore the beach. I am seriously hoping to get to live near the beach in the future. And one thing beach lovers love, are beachy themed things. And I love this stamp set.

I also must love the color Lost Lagoon as I used it here too.

Now just because these stamp sets are retiring, doesn't mean you can't have them. Get them while you can! I'll be keeping these ones in my collection.

And here's the whole Remarkable line up for this month:

2016-2018 New In Colors from Stampin' Up! Sweet Sugarplum

Hooray! If you're here, it means you liked Sweet Sugarplum.

If it's your first visit to my blog featuring new in colors, go back and check out all the previous posts on said subject: Previous posts start here.

I was very drawn to this color when I was creating with the new in colors for the very first time. The color is so warm and welcoming, so lovely and dare I say it, sweet.

Enjoy your peek at Sweet Sugarplum.

Measurements for this sweetie are after the pics.

Measurements for the happy hello card:
Regular card base of 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. Black layer 4 x 5 1/4. Vanilla layer (stamped on) 3 5/8 x 5 1/8. 4 boxes, first number is DSP, second number is black:
1 3/4 x 4 and 1 7/8 x 4 1/8,
3 x 3 and 3 1/8 x 3 1/8,
3 1/4 x 1 7/8 and 3 3/8 x 3 1/8 x 2,
3 5/8 x 6/8 and 3 1/2 x 7/8.
The cool shape for the sentiment is made using the Wonderful Wreath Framelits (no center, I thought that was pretty clever of me).

Hope I got that all right. You can make up your own building blocks of different sizes with 1/8 inch card stock mountings.

Here's that cute picture of all the colors in mini boxes one last time.

Thanks for sharing the new in colors with me, I'd love to know your favorites.
Happy Crafting!

Welcome back my friends. We're on new in color number 4.

If your just joining me, you might want to go back to the beginning: Click here for the beginning.

Emerald Envy, I'm working on liking this new in color. Don't get me wrong, it's a lovely green. It's bold and daring, vibrant, and different from all of our other greens. Which are all truly wonderful things. I'm just not in love with the color yet, and that's OK.

Please enjoy a few samples created with Emerald Envy.

And take a look at at all the colors together:

Come on back tomorrow for a look at the very lovely Sweet Sugarplum.

2016-2018 New In Colors from Stampin' Up! Peekaboo Peach

I think Peekaboo Peach might be my first favorite of the new in colors. I say first, because I usually end up liking most, if not all of them as time goes by. And, as entertained as I am by Stampin' Up's fun two word color names, I just keep calling this orange. It's the orange of summer and the beach, it's the sweetest orange ever.

If you're wondering what is this new in colors talk? Click here: Audra's first in color blog post.

So let's sit back and enjoy Peekaboo Peach:

Here are all the colors in super cute mini box form:

2016-2018 New In Colors from Stampin' Up! Flirty Flamingo

Flirty Flamingo, so pretty, so fun! What am I talking about you may wonder?

Every year, to keep things fresh, Stampin' Up releases a new set of in colors with their annual catalog. The colors are in the catalog for two years. They are a great complement to our existing color families and they are lots of fun together. As a display stamper for this years On Stage Live event, I created samples highlighting the new in colors. (The annual catalog and the lovely new colors are available starting June 1. Demonstrators get to join the fun just a bit earlier).

Here's your sneak peek of all the new in colors:

Today, for your viewing pleasure and inspiration, Flirty Flamingo!

And, I made one of these cute little paper purses with 3x3 cards showing all the colors.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you visit again! I'm featuring a new color each day this week.
Stay Crafty!
