A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop, Box of Sunshine

Hi Crafty Friends!
It's the last Thursday of the month, and time to celebrate June's Paper Pumpkin kit with the Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop team.

This month's kit is called Box of Sunshine, and it sure is! The kit has supplies to make 8 cards, 2 each of 4 designs. Plus a special yellow box and extra elements for sharing the sunshine. I love the stamp set included in the kit and the awesome black with white polka dot stickers.
See my unboxing video at the end of this post.

I'll probably make most of the cards from this kit just as they're designed. But, I had fun making this extra special one that I sent in my daughter's sunshine care package. (She's in grad school far from us.)

I used mostly elements from the kit, just adding a Whisper White and Basic Black layer and Poppy Parade and Crushed Curry ink. I included the card in this fun sunshine themed care package.

Then I had some fun making this month's framed art home decor piece. I love having a quick change up to my decorations each month.

Isn't it great? I love it! It fits in a 6 x 6 shadow box frame I purchased from Michael's.
The measurements for the layers, starting from the back:
Crushed Curry, 6 x 6, Basic Black, 5 1/8 x 5 1/8, Poppy Parade, 5 x 5, the sunburst card front from the kit, 4 1/4 x 4 1/4, the yellow sploosh card front from the kit, 4 3/4 x 3 3/4. The black dot border is the edges from the sticker sheet in the kit.
I also love the self adhesive sequins from the kit.

I am going to enjoy looking at it all month!
